DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
The department is headed by a Director and its responsibilities are:
State-wide monitoring of daily street sweeping exercise.
Daily monitoring of vegetation control in urban centres within the State.
Watershed management.
Landscaping and beautification of roundabout, road medians.
Nature and biodiversity conservation.
Monitoring of mineral resources sites to enforce appropriate reclamation of the area.
Monitoring of car wash centres and fuel Stations across the State.
Attending to public complaints on Environmental related issue.
