Mr. Ola Oresanya is a recognised authority in Waste Management and Environmental development in Africa. A BSc degree holder in Geology from the University of Ibadan and MSc in Environmental Management & Ecology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. An Alumnus of Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
He had a successful tenure as Managing Director/CEO of Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) from May 2005 to August 2015. He is the Managing Director and Co-founder of Globetech Remedial Limited and a Lead Consultant to the UN-Habitat/UNEP, Federal and several State Governments on Waste Management issues. He presently serves as the Commissioner for Environment, Ogun State.
