The Department of Finance and Accounts is headed by a Director from the office of the Accountant General for the State. The Department keeps proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy the financial position of the Ministry, in compliance with Financial Regulations.
Responsibilities include financial control and management of funds, maintaining transparency and accountability, preparation and execution of the annual budget, and provision of financial advisory services. It is structured into three divisions: Accounts, Finance, and Budget.
