The Department is headed by a Director and has four Divisions:
Health and Safety Division
- Noise Pollution Control, Morgue Operational Services, Educational Awareness & Consultancy, Advocacy on Environmental Compliance & Sustainability, and coordination of EHS activities in workplaces.
Surveillance, Enforcement and Services
- Management of Environmental Marshals, inspection & investigation, housing standard control, disease surveillance and prevention & control of nuisances.
Sanitation and Hygiene Division
- Public toilet management, cleaning services, urban sanitation, pest & vector control, sewage management and coordination of the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise.
Management Division
- Commemoration of environmental days, routine reporting and coordination of the Environmental Health Management Information System.
