Ogun govt tasks chemical handlers, industrial partners on clean energy technology

Ogun State Government has called on chemical handlers, industrial partners and policy makers to adopt clean energy technologies including Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and renewable energy solutions which will prioritize environmental compliance and ensure long-term sustainability.
The state governor, Dapo Abiodun made the call while declaring open the third edition of the Chemical Handlers and Users Workshop put together by the Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency (OGEPA).
The event themed “Clean Energy for a Healthier State - Reducing Pollution Through Sustainable Energy Solution” was held in Abeokuta, the state capital.
Abiodun, represented by his Deputy, Noimot Salako-Oyelede, said by adopting these clean energy technologies, the state and Nigeria can reduce pollution, improve public health and build a legacy of sustainability for future generations.
